This paper presents a solution to the dead-band problem in the speed control system of  diesel  of electric power stations on shipboard. Efficiently controlling the speed of  diesel  is expected  for power station on ship. Moreover, keeping the frequency of the power station constant is also essential since the grid on ship is soft grid.
